Diego Fernández Marín

Diego Fernández Marín has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Diego started their career as a Jr Software Developer at BP Oil, where they developed applications for data analysis in the oil process. Diego then worked as a Software Engineer at BYG Systems, focusing on e-learning projects, web development, and maintenance of clients' websites. After that, they joined IBM Global Services as an IT Senior Consultant, specializing in databases and communications. At T-Systems Iberia, they served as a PLM IT Technical Leader and later as a PLM Pre sales Consultant. Diego then moved to SEAT,SA, where they were a CAx & Digital Factory Processes and Systems Group Leader and later a Digital Factory IT Project Manager. Diego further expanded their expertise at Bentley Motors Ltd, holding roles like Functional Manager and Digital Marketing IT Senior Project Manager. Currently, they are at PowerCo SE as Head of HR Systems, Processes, and Innovation, leading a team responsible for delivering HR solutions, introducing innovative systems, and defining strategy and governance for global HR implementation.

Diego Fernández Marín completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat Jaume I between 1991 and 1998. Diego also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science during the same period from the same university.
