Dr. Philipp Bach

Dr. Philipp Bach is an experienced professional in battery cell development, currently serving as an Expert Battery Cell Development at PowerCo since November 2024, where responsibilities include overall technical management of battery cells and coordination with external development partners. Prior to this role, Dr. Bach worked at Alzner Automotive GmbH as a Battery Cell Expert, focusing on testing and improving battery cell portfolios, and managed projects related to public funding. Earlier experience includes a Project Engineer position at Innolith, where Dr. Bach oversaw applied research on lithium-ion battery technology, and roles in battery development and research at Alzner, Liacon GmbH, and various academic institutions. Dr. Bach holds a doctorate in Chemistry from Ruhr University Bochum and is certified in project and process management.
