Ella Peinovich

Ella Peinovich is an accomplished entrepreneur and founder with extensive experience in the design and fashion industries. As the Founder and CEO of Powered by People (PBP) since June 2019, Ella leads a B2B wholesale marketplace that connects global makers with international buyers, addressing the increasing demand for authentic and diverse products. Previously, Ella founded Soko, an ethical fashion brand acquired by Essence Ventures in 2022, and LocalDM, an initiative focusing on localized design and manufacturing. Ella's commitment to impactful initiatives is also reflected in the role as a Board Member for Impact Africa Network from January 2019 to January 2023. Ella's educational background includes a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an Executive Program in Blockchain Technologies from MIT Sloan School of Management.
