Kalp Sampat is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as Associate Director - Engineering at PowerEdge, a fintech SaaS startup focused on modernizing the credit industry. Since March 2025, Kalp has been instrumental in shaping and managing the engineering organization, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing the development of key products such as the Credit-Card Suite and Collections Platform. Prior experience includes roles at Uni Cards, where leadership was provided for the Credit-Cards Vertical and Wealth Vertical, and a significant tenure at BookMyShow, where Kalp led multiple engineering teams to achieve substantial revenue growth and implemented innovative solutions in cloud architecture and payments. Kalp's career began at Pigtail Pundits, developing websites for small businesses, following graduation with a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
