Ashton Purcell is a New Product Development Engineer at Powerex Inc. since June 2023, following a role as a Research Assistant at Penn State University's Semiconductor Spectroscopy Laboratory from May 2019 to March 2023, where expertise in characterization and magnetic resonance spectroscopy of semiconductor materials was developed. Between August 2020 and May 2022, Ashton served as a Teaching Assistant at Penn State University, managing online course components, grading assignments, and conducting lectures. Prior experience includes working as a Bartender at Wildwood Golf & Country Club from June 2018 to May 2019. Ashton holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Penn State University, completed in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, with a Nanofabrication Minor, earned in May 2020.
