David Morley

David Morley has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. David started their career at Truman State University as a Student Web Applications Developer from September 2000 to July 2003. David then joined The Boeing Company as a Programmer/Analyst, where they designed and developed enterprise web applications and integration architecture. David also led small teams of developers during their tenure from July 2003 to September 2013.

After that, David worked as a Field Consultant at SyllogisTeks from September 2013 to March 2014. David then joined Baeldung as a Technical Editor, where they edited articles on Java, Spring, and web development from September 2015 to April 2017.

David also contributed to QDivision, starting as a QTraining Program Software Engineering Instructor and later becoming a Tech Lead from February 2018 to December 2019. During this time, they defined program goals and curriculum, interviewed and selected candidates, and oversaw their progress. Additionally, David acted as an ambassador for the program both internally and externally.

In 2014, David Morley joined UniGroup as a Senior Application Engineer and progressed to roles such as Lead Application Engineer, Application Architect, Lead Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, and finally, Enterprise Architect. David worked at UniGroup until July 2021.

Currently, David is working at PowerFlex as a Software Engineer 5. David has also held the positions of Software Engineering Manager and is currently serving as the Associate Director of Software Engineering from July 2021 to the present.

David Morley attended Truman State University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
