Karina P.

Karina P. has a strong background in project coordination and management. Karina is currently employed at PowerFlex as a Project Operations Manager, a role they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PowerFlex as a Senior Project Coordinator from August 2022 to April 2023, and as a Project Coordinator from June 2021 to August 2022. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and coordination of energy projects, including solar, BESS, and EVSE projects. Karina also handled tasks such as resource coordination, progress tracking, and communication between internal and external teams.

Before joining PowerFlex, Karina worked as a Program Coordinator at Rogers Electric from February 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they had roles at PUC National, including Student Information System Analyst from May 2018 to November 2019 and Information Technology Intern from June 2014 to May 2018. Karina also gained experience as a Drupal website support at the Materials Research Laboratory at UCSB from July 2016 to March 2018.

Karina P. completed their Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies with a minor in Spanish from UC Santa Barbara. Karina attended the university from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they briefly studied at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in the field of International/Global Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Karina has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach certification from 360training, the PVOL 101: Solar Electric Design and Installation (Grid-Direct) certification from Solar Energy International (SEI), and the Procore Certification: Procore Administrator from Procore Technologies. In 2020, they obtained the Human Resources Foundations certification from LinkedIn.
