Matus Braun

Matus Braun has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matus most recently worked as an Operations Manager at Powerful Medical, a Class IIb Medical Device manufacturer and deep-tech research company. In this role, they were responsible for revolutionizing cardiovascular care through artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Prior to that, Matus worked as the Director of Operations at CloudTalk, where they led a team in global office management and internal event management. Matus was also instrumental in defining and optimizing company-wide processes and policies while coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Matus also gained valuable experience at Volkswagen Slovakia, where they held multiple roles including Head of Corporate Strategy & Management of Ideas and Executive Assistant to the CEO. Matus played a key role in developing and implementing corporate strategies for the company.

Additionally, Matus has worked as an Intern at the Embassy of Slovak Republic in Germany, where they monitored the economic situation in Germany and conducted sectoral analysis on automotive and energy industries. Matus was also responsible for organizing official visits.

Furthermore, Matus gained experience in the field of foreign trade at the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency. Here, they processed export demands and organized business missions and negotiations for Slovak companies willing to export to Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Matus started their career at Amazon, where they worked as a Seller Support Associate for the German Market. Matus also served as the Incoming Internships Manager at AIESEC.

Matus Braun began their education in 2005 at Gymnazium Ivana Horvatha in Bratislava, Slovakia, where they studied General Studies until 2009. During this time, they also obtained a certification called Deutsches Sprachdiplom from Kulturministerkonferenz in May 2009. From 2007 to 2007, they attended BG/BRG Bruck a/d Leitha in Austria for General Studies. Matus then pursued a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Economics in Bratislava from 2009 to 2012. Continuing their education, Matus pursued a Master's Degree in European and European Legal Studies at the University of Hamburg from 2013 to 2014. In 2013, they also briefly attended MGIMO - Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) to study International Economic Relations and Affairs.
