Rob Mercier

Rob Mercier has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1994 as an Assistant Manager at Record Town/Tape World. Rob then worked as a Head Technician at Alactronics from 2000 to 2002. From 2005 to 2006, they were an Assistant Manager at FYE. In 2006, they worked as a Live Sound Engineer at Skybar. From 2008 to 2010, they served as an Associate Manager of Lead Generation Programs at Ziff Davis Enterprise. In 2011, they worked as a Community Specialist at Sermo, and as a Content & Social Marketing Manager at Pure Incubation from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Junior Developer at Pure Incubation, and from 2014 to 2020, they worked as a Web Developer. At Pure Incubation, they also held the role of team lead/technology lead for business-facing and public-facing applications. From 2020 to 2023, they were a Software Engineer II at VidaNyx, where they developed user-facing web applications and provided mentorship to other developers. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Powerhouse Dynamics.

Rob Mercier attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music, specializing in Sound Recording Technology.
