Lacey Salo

Lacey Salo has a diverse range of work experience in the design and gaming industry. Lacey worked as a Creative Director at Powerhouse Gaming, where they provided visual and audio direction, managed art disciplines, and led and mentored members of the design team. Prior to this, they were an Art Director at the same company.

Before joining Powerhouse Gaming, Lacey worked as a Game Artist at Aristocrat, where they designed and developed digital graphics, animations, and marketing content. Lacey also worked with managers to plan work and guide team artists to meet quality and deadline targets.

Lacey's experience also includes working as a Lead Game Artist at Spin Games LLC, where they were responsible for the visual style and production of games. Lacey also collaborated with various gaming industry companies to bring slot games to mobile platforms.

Additionally, Lacey worked as a Lead Graphic Designer and Web Developer at Perfect Balance Designs, creating marketing materials and adhering to branding standards. Lacey also operated a freelance graphic design business, assisting companies with brand development and rebranding.

Lacey's early work experience includes serving as a Digital Media Designer at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they developed art and design in various media forms. Lacey also had a short-term role as a Database Frontend at GE.

Lacey Salo's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Nevada, Reno, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they attended the Regional Occupation Program where they pursued a degree in Digital Media with a focus on Graphic Design.

In addition to their formal education, Lacey has obtained several certifications. In 2006, they received a Certification in Computer Graphic/Web Design from the Regional Occupation Program. Later on, they obtained certifications in various subjects such as Guidance and Discipline: Prevention vs. Intervention, Leadership and Professional Development, Sign and Symptoms of Illness, Reducing the Risk of SIDS, and HeartSaver First Aid w/ adult, child, infant CPR & AED Training from different institutions like The Nevada Registry, The State Gaming Control Board, and The State of Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.

Lacey also obtained a Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification from Medic First Aid International, Inc. in 2009.
