Director Digital Engineering Office at Powerlink Queensland

Brian Atkin has a diverse work experience background. Brian currently holds the role of Director of the Digital Engineering Office at Powerlink Queensland since August 2022. Brian Atkin also contributed as a Volunteer in the cervical cancer prevention and control program in the Solomon Islands at the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) from May 2013 to May 2015. Before that, they gained experience in various ICT technical roles across government, not-for-profit, and private sectors starting from 2000. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Kowanyama Office at Cape York Digital Network, where they managed the local branch office and provided ICT support from January 2004 to June 2004.

Brian Atkin attended Ferny Grove State High School and Samford State School, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for these schools. In 1999 to 2000, they completed a Diploma of Information Technology (Systems Analysis and Design) at TAFE Queensland.
