Craig Bennett

Craig Bennett is an experienced professional in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as the Connection and Development Manager at Powerlink Queensland since June 2008, and previously held roles such as Team Leader Commissioning and Project Commissioning Manager. At Powerlink, Craig leads a team that provides commissioning services for regulated and major customer projects, manages testing and commissioning activities for high voltage substations and transmission lines, and prepares commissioning plans to ensure system readiness. Prior to Powerlink, Craig worked at Energex as a Senior Protection Systems Engineering Officer and at Eskom as a Protection Systems Technician, where responsibilities included ensuring equipment safety, conducting technical investigations, and performing scheduled maintenance on high voltage systems. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business & Information Systems from the University of South Africa, an Associate's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Johannesburg, and a Diploma in Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
