Gerard Nicolas

Gerard Nicolas is an experienced leader in the electrical and infrastructure engineering sectors, currently serving as General Manager - Infrastructure Delivery Major Customers at Powerlink Queensland since September 2009. In this role, Gerard oversees customer connection projects involving substations, transmission line extensions, wind and solar farms, and large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems. Previously, Gerard has held multiple senior positions within Powerlink, including Acting General Manager roles in network portfolio, design solutions, and community services, as well as Manager roles in projects and project management office, effectively managing large teams and guiding extensive capital and operational projects. Prior experience includes positions at AECOM Australia, AREVA T&D, and ALIND, with a solid educational background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TKM College of Engineering.
