Steve Martin

Steve Martin has over three decades of experience in environmental management and strategic planning, currently serving as Senior Strategist for Land Assets, Research and Development at Powerlink Queensland since August 2002. Martin has successfully led initiatives in land asset strategy, bushfire mitigation, and R&D program management, driving organizational innovation and improving asset management practices. Previous roles include Manager of Environmental Strategies and Environmental Officer at Ergon Energy, alongside founding Blue Gum Environmental Consultancy Services. Martin holds a Master's degree in Land Resource Management from The University of Queensland and has an extensive background in environmental compliance, stakeholder negotiations, and vegetation management across various organizations.
