Teresa Howard

Teresa Howard has a strong background in corporate law and legal compliance. Teresa began their career as a Business Risk & Compliance Analyst at Ergon Energy in 2001, and then moved on to become a Legal Compliance Advisor. In 2007, they joined Powerlink Queensland as a Senior Corporate Lawyer. Over the years, Teresa has gained extensive experience in regulatory matters and eventually became a Senior Regulatory Specialist at Powerlink Queensland. Teresa later served as the Head of Legal at Powerlink Queensland.

Teresa Howard obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Law, Politics, and Public Policy from Griffith University between 1995 and 2000. Teresa also completed a Graduate diploma in legal practice from The College of Law Australia in 2002. In 2005, they obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training from the Line Management Institute.
