Tracy Groenewald

Tracy Groenewald has a strong background in finance, systems, and IT management. From 2014 to the present, Tracy has worked as the Finance Lead S4/HANA at Powerlink Queensland, overseeing financial planning, management reporting, and financial systems teams. Before that, Tracy served as the Manager of Financial Planning & Systems at Powerlink Queensland, where they led financial planning processes and provided analytical and reporting services.

Prior to Powerlink Queensland, Tracy worked at KPMG as an Associate Director in Management Consulting, focusing on ERP solutions and providing assurance and governance advisory services. Tracy also worked at Allconnex Water as the Group Manager of Financial Systems and Reporting, leading the compilation and analysis of management accounting and budget reports.

Earlier in their career, Tracy served as the IT Manager at Sohar Aluminium, where they provided strategic direction for the IT function and managed IT policies, procedures, and systems. Tracy also worked as a Lead SAP Functional Consultant at CSC, delivering SAP re-implementation and upgrade projects. Additionally, Tracy served as a Plan and Manage Functional Consultant and Process Team Leader at Rio Tinto, and as a Specialist Accounting and Reporting professional at BHP Billiton, where they were a key user of SAP and supported financial and treasury functions.

Tracy Groenewald holds a Baccalaureus Commercii Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pretoria.
