Swaroop Hegde

Swaroop Hegde has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2006. Swaroop was a Co-Founder at Racked Hosting LLC, where they were responsible for RH Presence, the software development wing, as well as Finance, Customer Support & Server Administration. In 2010, Hegde became Co-Founder and CTO at Planga, where they were the key designer of Planga's complex social architecture and managed a team of seven full-time developers and operations engineers. In 2011, Hegde Co-Founded Atticous, a self-publishing journal. In 2014, Hegde Co-Founded Dotaprohub, an esports company that built cutting edge analytics products using data science for a competitive online game called Dota 2, and was later acquired by Unikrn. Hegde then joined Unikrn as Director of Product Management in 2015. In 2017, Hegde became an Advisor at SpringRole Inc. and Evensi, where they built a super fast search for retrieving localized data from 60Million+ events, spearheaded Eventbrite integration with a faster conversion flow, and created a custom CDN for faster global delivery of 1 billion+ images & thumbnails on demand. In 2018, Hegde Co-Founded BlockVigil and in 2020, Hegde Co-Founded PowerLoom, Inc., where they currently serve as CEO.

Swaroop Hegde completed their Bachelor of Engineering in E&C/CS from Manipal Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2008.
