Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Event Safety Manager for Drum Corps International since July 2023. Holding multiple roles simultaneously, Brian designs drill for the Syracuse University Marching Band and other bands nationwide, and has been involved as a drill designer for the University of Minnesota Marching Band since 1999. Brian also manages regional contests and serves as the Site Manager for the WGI World Championships of Color Guard, Percussion, and Winds, roles held since 1992. In addition to a long-standing career in technical sales at Power/mation since 1988, earlier experience includes inside sales at Vomela. Brian is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Southern New Hampshire University, with an anticipated graduation in December 2024.
