Emma Modrate

Emma Modrate has extensive work experience in various roles in the sales and account management field. Emma started their career as a Business Development Manager at Exova in 2003 and held that position until 2011. Emma then joined Exova Group as a Key Account Manager (Pharma) in 2010, where they were responsible for managing accounts, developing sales, and promoting organic growth. In 2014, Emma worked as an Operations Manager at Exova Pharma in Edinburgh, where they liaised with clients, organized daily operations, and had responsibilities related to P&L, HR, and H&S. Emma later joined Eurofins BPT UK Ltd in 2016 as a Key Account Manager, where they looked after all accounts for the laboratory, met clients, developed sales, and achieved sales targets. Emma's most recent role is as a Sales Application Engineer at PowerPhotonic, starting in November 2020.

Emma Modrate earned a 1st Class degree in Applied Chemistry from Edinburgh Napier University, spanning from 1995 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Surface Science at the University of St Andrews between 2000 and 2003.
