Alexander Austin

Alexander Austin has worked for PowerPollen since 2019, where they currently hold the role of Senior Research Associate II. Alexander has previously held the roles of Research Associate and Research Assistant at PowerPollen. Prior to this, they were employed at Simpson College from 2017-2019, where they were a General Chemistry Supplemental Instruction Leader and Chemistry Tutor. As a Chemistry Tutor, they were available twice a week for two hours each to provide free tutoring services to students struggling with chemistry courses.

Alexander Austin attended Simpson College from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Alexander then attended Iowa State University from 2020 to 2023, where they earned a Master's degree in Plant Biology. Additionally, in October 2021, they obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Statistics and R from edX.
