Julie Scott Allen

Julie Scott Allen is a seasoned professional in government affairs and lobbying with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a founding member and chief at Chief since August 2021, Allen also holds the position of principal and senior director of government affairs at Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville PC since August 2019. Prior to this, Allen spent nearly a decade at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, serving as director of government relations and senior vice president at the District Policy Group. Additional roles include vice president and managing director at Thompson Advisory Group (2007-2010), vice president at Jefferson Consulting Group (2006-2007), manager of legislative and regulatory policy at the American Dental Association (2000-2006), and senior lobbyist at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (1997-2000).
