Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson serves as the Group Vice President at PowerSchool, leading the integration of SchoolMessenger following a successful $300 million acquisition in October 2023. Previously, Chris held the position of President at SchoolMessenger, guiding the company through its acquisition by PowerSchool. With an extensive background, Chris has contributed to the EdTech sector in roles at Intrado and has co-founded Permission Click, focusing on automating K-12 processes. Additional experience includes leadership in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in Manitoba as Chairman of North Forge Technology Exchange and co-founder of Startup Winnipeg. Chris Johnson's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the University of Manitoba.
