Nick Fedorkiw

Nick Fedorkiw has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Nick is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of powertrust since 2019. Nick also worked as the Finance Lead for the D-REC Initiative, a not-for-profit organization focused on creating a global market for distributed renewable energy, starting in 2020. In 2021, they joined Clir Renewables as a Senior Product Manager, Financial Services, and later became an Alumnus of the Equinor & Techstars Energy Accelerator in 2022. Prior to that, they served as Managing Director of Zenon Energy from 2012 to 2019. Other roles include Policy Advisor for the Office of the President of the Treasury Board of Canada in 2015 and Regulatory Affairs Manager and Offshore Developer at Mainstream Renewable Power from 2008 to 2012. Nick began their career as an Economist at Finance Canada in 2002, where they focused on tax policy and environmental tax measures.

Nick Fedorkiw holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Queen's University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Nick also has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, completed from 2001 to 2002. Furthermore, they have a certification in CFA from the CFA Institute.
