Talia O’Brien possesses extensive experience in community development and government affairs, currently serving as a Government Affairs Analyst and Neighborhood Business District Program Analyst at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh since February 2022. In this role, Talia designed and manages the Avenues of Hope Grant Program, which allocates approximately $7 million to support vulnerable neighborhoods. Previously, Talia contributed to Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. as a Steering Committee Member for the Leadership Development Initiative, focusing on community impact projects. As a Project Manager for the Borough of Etna, Talia managed various projects, including public green space construction and stormwater management practices. Additional experience includes roles as a Real Estate & Community Engagement Associate, Peer Tutor, Station Manager at a campus radio station, and youth leadership positions in environmental initiatives. Talia earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Thiel College, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and community improvement.
