Mark Montgomery

Mark Montgomery has extensive experience in tax management and advisory roles. Mark currently holds the position of Senior Director Global Tax at Powin, a role they began in August 2022. Prior to joining Powin, Mark worked at Planar Systems, Inc., where they served as the Director of Tax & Treasury from June 2007 to August 2022. Before that, they were a Tax Manager at ESI from September 2002 to June 2007. Mark also worked as a Tax Advisor at a self-employed capacity from February 2002 to September 2002 and as a Tax Manager at PacifiCorp from November 2000 to February 2002. Mark began their career as a Sr. Tax Analyst at Daimler Trucks North America in April 1996 and held the position until November 2000.

Mark Montgomery earned a Master of Tax degree in Taxation from Portland State University from 1996 to 1998. Mark also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management from Oregon State University between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, Mark has a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, although the institution and date of obtaining the certification are unspecified.
