Puru D.

Puru D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Puru started their career at Hostgator.com in 2010 as a DevOps | Linux Administrator. In 2011, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Server Configuration and Security. Puru then joined NVIDIA in 2012 as an API/Integration Engineer, where they integrated NVIDIA's eCommerce API with various other APIs and also built a LAMP server for automation. From 2014 to 2015, Puru worked at Doorman as a Software Engineer, collaborating with a group of developers and designers on fullstack projects. In 2015, they joined Flock Software as a Lead/Senior Software Engineer, where they led API/Integration and security efforts and managed remote engineering teams. Currently, Puru is working at POWR as the Head of Engineering, responsible for leading backend API/integrations, backend architectures, deployment automation, server security, and overall engineering culture. Puru is also managing the Backend, Infrastructure, Security, and Data teams at POWR.

Puru D. attended Grambling State University from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Computer Science. Afterwards, they transferred to the University of Houston and obtained a degree in Computer Science from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, they received additional certifications in Software as a Service (SAAS) from UC Berkeley and in Web Application Architectures from the University of New Mexico.
