Kris Tomes

United States Air Force graduate, Kris Tomes is the owner and founder of Valor Med LLC. He and his team authored House Bill 496 which was passed in 2019 mandating that Bleeding Control Stations will be placed in every school in Texas. Valor Med is responsible for ensuring safety in over 3,500 High schools. Kris attended Pararescue Indoctrination School, then proceeded to his first duty station at Patrick, AFB, Florida where he performed duties as an Element Leader, team member and Instructor Evaluator in the 308th Rescue Squadron.

Kris has won numerous military awards including the 2013 McKay Trophy Award, Air Force Combat Action Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Reserves Forces Meritorious Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. Kris brings military structure, strategic mentorship, 10 years of experienced trauma medicine, and relentless energy to the team.
