Ilya Spitalnik

Ilya Spitalnik has extensive work experience in a variety of roles. Ilya began their career in 1998 as a Senior Associate Director (Global Markets) at Deutsche Bank, where they were responsible for launching the bank's online foreign exchange trading system. In 2000, they founded Greenwave and served as Business Development/Sales Director and interim COO at OILspace from 2001 to 2005. Ilya then moved to GPI in 2005 as Director before founding Powtoon in 2011 and taking on the role of Founder and AttentionHacker. In 2011, they also became Investor and Chair of Advisory Board at SureVisit. Most recently, they joined Visual Native in 2022 as Chief Executive Officer.

Ilya Spitalnik obtained their MSc in Finance from King's College London between 1990 and 1995. Prior to that, they attended Carmel College from 1984 to 1989. Ilya also holds a Certificate of Awesomeness from the Powtoon School of Awesomeness.
