Jean Hill

Jean Hill has a diverse work history in the healthcare industry. Jean most recently served as Vice President of Health Services and Director of Nursing at Poydras Home starting in October 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Patient Care Services at Ochsner Health System from September 2014 to August 2016. Before that, they held the positions of Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at St. Charles Parish Hospital from September 2011 to August 2014, and CNO from June 2007 to August 2011. Jean also worked as a Director of Medical/Surgical Services at Touro Infirmary from September 2003 to May 2007 and held various roles at Tulane Medical Center from August 1986 to September 2003, including IT Clinical Applications Specialist, Nurse Clinician, Nurse Manager, Interim Risk Manager, and Charge RN. Additionally, Jean has experience as an Independent Consultant with Mary Kay Inc. since 2002.

Jean Hill obtained their Diploma from Redemptorist High School in 1980. Jean attended the University of New Orleans in 1980 and Southeastern Louisiana University in the same year for Pre-Nursing. From 1981 to 1985, they studied at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Later, in 1993 to 1995, they pursued Healthcare Administration at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where they obtained their Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree. In June 1992, they also obtained the ONC certification from the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
