Jean Hill has a diverse work history in the healthcare industry. Jean most recently served as Vice President of Health Services and Director of Nursing at Poydras Home starting in October 2016. Jean Hill obtained their Diploma from Redemptorist High School in 1980. Jean attended the University of New Orleans in 1980 and Southeastern Louisiana University in the same year for Pre-Nursing. From 1981 to 1985, they studied at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Later, in 1993 to 1995, they pursued Healthcare Administration at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where they obtained their Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree. In June 1992, they also obtained the ONC certification from the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
