Rachel Nicholas

Rachel Nicholas is an Associate Attorney with experience at Poyner Spruill LLP and Schwartz and Shaw, PLLC. Prior to their current role, Rachel served as a Certified Student Practitioner at the Civil Legal Assistance Clinic, a Certified Legal Intern at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, a Pollitt Fellow at the ACLU of North Carolina, and a Legal Intern at UNC Center for Civil Rights. Rachel also has experience as a Corps Member with Teach For America and as a Legislative Research Assistant for Representative Jennifer Weiss at the North Carolina General Assembly. Rachel holds a Doctor of Law degree from UNC School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
