Katarzyna Perez

Katarzyna Perez has extensive work experience in the fields of economics, finance, and banking. Katarzyna is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Investment and Financial Markets at the Poznan University of Economics and Business. In addition to this role, they hold the position of Associate Professor at the university. Previously, they served as the Head of the Monetary Policy and Financial Markets Department and as an Assistant Professor at the same institution. In 2017, Katarzyna Perez became a Member of the Supervisory Board at Santander TFI (BZ WBK TFI). Prior to their academic career, they worked as a Corporate Banking Officer at Societe Generale from 2001 to 2004.

Katarzyna Perez holds a Master's degree in Banking from Poznan University of Economics And Business, which they completed from 1996 to 2001. Katarzyna pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the same university between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they conducted research as a Pre-doc Fulbright Scholar at Columbia Business School from 2004 to 2005. Katarzyna also completed a Post-doc Kosciuszko Foundation Fellowship at Columbia Business School from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they achieved a Habilitated Doctor of Philosophy (doktor habilitowany) from Poznan University of Economics And Business in 2013.
