Marieke van Gorp

Marieke van Gorp currently serves as a Raadslid for the municipality of Bladel at Fractie Pro5 since March 2022 and has been working as a Stafmedewerker zorg / POH-GGZ at PoZoB since June 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a Psychologist and Location Coordinator at IWAL instituten voor dyslexie B.V., where responsibilities included the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities, and as a Co-trainer for Stichting ES, facilitating training for new interns. Marieke also has a history of volunteering with individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts through Stichting Ex6/Stichting 113online, along with previous positions as a Foster Care Worker and an Ambulant Help Provider. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Stress Management, Coaching, Counseling, and Conflict Mediation, and a Master of Science in Developmental and Child Psychology from Tilburg University.
