Chunhai Ruan

Chunhai Ruan is an experienced analytical scientist with a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Wayne State University and a strong background in method development and validation across various pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical applications. Currently a Senior Research Scientist at PPD, Chunhai leads method development for therapeutic drugs using advanced liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry techniques. Prior roles include Senior Scientist II at Alliance Pharma, enhancing analytical methods under regulated environments, and Lab Manager at Imperial Brands PLC, where lab operations were managed and chemists were mentored. Chunhai's experience also encompasses a postdoctoral fellowship focused on metabolomics at the University of Michigan, as well as research at the Wayne State University and Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, specializing in tandem mass spectrometry and the interactions of metal ions with biological molecules.
