Mary Scanlan, PhD, is currently the Executive Director of Scientific Collaborations at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. Previously, they served as Director of Cell and Gene Therapy at the same organization from 2021 to 2025. Mary has substantial research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oregon.
