Raquel Alcazar

Raquel Alcazar possesses over 13 years of experience in Clinical Research, with more than 7 years focused on Site Activation at a global level across multiple therapeutic areas and diverse patient populations, including children and adolescents. They have served as a Site Activation Manager at ICON plc, where they led efforts to accelerate site activation timelines, improve profitability, and ensure quality. Raquel is a Subject Matter Expert in start-up process development and has managed various aspects of clinical trials, from Phase I to Phase III, across multiple regions. Currently, they are the Director of Start-Up Team Management at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and they hold a Licenciatura in Pharmacy from Universitat de Barcelona.
