Rebecca Harston

Rebecca Harston is a seasoned professional in business development and marketing with extensive experience in various leadership roles. From September 2018 to March 2021, Rebecca served as Executive Account Director and Senior Director of Business Development at PPD, focusing on strategic partnerships and generating proposal strategies for federal and industry opportunities. Prior to PPD, Rebecca held multiple positions at ABL Inc. from May 2012 to September 2018, including Director of Business Development and Associate Director of Marketing, where responsibilities included leading a marketing team, launching a new website, and developing strategies for new business in the biopharmaceutical sector. Earlier in Rebecca's career, from August 2004 to May 2009, Rebecca contributed to cutting-edge research at the Medical University of South Carolina as a Graduate Researcher, resulting in a provisional patent for a novel heart failure therapy. Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Clemson University.
