Riya Chatterjee

Riya Chatterjee is a Senior Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific since September 2021, previously serving as an Associate III at Catalent Pharma Solutions for a brief period. Riya's research experience includes a role as a Scientist/Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of South Florida, where work focused on postdoctoral research. Riya's doctoral studies at the University of Mississippi involved innovative manipulation of carbonaceous compounds and data analysis using LabView, Python, and Excel, alongside mentoring undergraduate researchers. The academic journey began at the University of Calcutta, where Riya assessed biosorbents for wastewater treatment and mentored peers. Riya holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, an MTech from the University of Calcutta, and a BTech from West Bengal University of Technology.
