Stephen Perry

Stephen Perry is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as the Director of Global R&D Procurement at PPD since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles at AstraZeneca as Procurement Team Leader for Medical Affairs/Non-Commercial and Category Manager in the same division, where significant cost reductions and strategic sourcing were achieved. At Merck, Stephen held the position of Sourcing Manager for Programmatic CRO, managing a $200 million spend portfolio. Earlier experience includes positions at ICON plc, where responsibilities ranged from financial management to contract delivery in clinical trials. Stephen holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Biochemistry, both from the University of Delaware.
