John Chaszar

John Chaszar currently serves as the EVP/General Manager at Live! Casino & Hotel, overseeing operations at a leading casino and hotel resort since June 2024. Prior roles include Substitute Teacher and Paraeducator at Oak Harbor Public Schools, where emphasis was placed on empathy and adaptability in education. As SVP/General Manager at Tropicana Evansville, John managed extensive operations involving slots, table games, dining outlets, and hotels, while also facilitating a significant economic development package. Previously, John held the position of VP/General Manager at Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa Riverside, managing a large gaming operation and its adjustment post-competition. Additional experience includes roles as General Manager at Hollywood Casino locations and with Quorum Hotels & Resorts in various management capacities. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Michigan State University.
