Arto Nummela

Arto Nummela is an experienced professional in the wood technology and coatings industry, currently serving as Segment Manager for IC Wood EMEA at PPG since February 2023. Nummela's extensive background includes a long tenure at Tikkurila Oyj from June 1994 to July 2024, where roles included Group Product Portfolio Manager, Group Portfolio Development Manager, Sales Manager for Industrial Woodfinishes in Finland, and Technical Service Manager overseeing the Industrial Technical Service Team. Earlier experience includes a role as Product Manager at Samerka Oy from May 1989 to October 1991. Nummela holds a degree in Wood Technology Engineering from the Technical Institute in Lahti, completed between 1983 and 1987, alongside high school education from Lammi completed in 1981.
