Bob Smathers

Bob Smathers is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and operations management. Currently serving as the CFIN Global Data Integration Manager at PPG since March 2019, Bob has also held positions as Operations Accounting Manager and Finance Manager within the same company. Prior experience includes roles such as Business Process Lead, Cost Accountant, and Accounting Supervisor at PPG Industries from June 2014 to March 2019. Bob began a career in finance as a Corporate Controllership Intern at PPG in 2013 and further honed skills through internships at the American Red Cross and as a Student Supervisor at the University of Pittsburgh. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Pittsburgh, obtained in 2014.
