Darren Slocomb

Darren Slocomb is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a strong background in manufacturing and operational improvement. Currently serving as Engineering Projects Manager for PPG Industries in Australia and New Zealand since August 2019, Darren also holds the position of Project Coordinator for Bio-Manufacturing at Australian Paper Pty Ltd, alongside being the Afternoon Shift Manager since September 2016. Previous roles include Project Manager at Asaleo Care, where Darren successfully led a significant AUD $65 million project aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and various managerial positions at SCA and Carter Holt Harvey focused on business and operations improvement. Darren's foundational experience includes working as a Business Consultant at Strategic Management Group and a Superintendent at Amcor, complemented by a robust academic background with multiple degrees from Deakin University and La Trobe University in fields including Technology Management and Applied Chemistry.
