David S. Bem

David S. Bem is the current CTO & VP of Science & Technology at PPG Industries. David has over 25 years of experience in research and development, with a focus on new product development and application development. David has worked with some of the largest companies in the world, including Dow, Celanese Corp, and UOP. David is an expert in glass bonding and structural adhesives, thermoplastics, elastomers, and polyurathane systems. David has also been instrumental in developing DPF emmissions and Impaxx accoustics products.

David S. Bem received both their BA in Chemistry and their Ph.D in Solid State Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
