Ed Barrett

Ed Barrett has extensive work experience in internal audit and risk management. Ed is currently the Head of Internal Audit and Risk at PPHE Hotel Group, where they created a new Internal Audit and Risk function. Ed designed and implemented a new Enterprise Risk Management framework and delivered a risk-based Internal Audit plan. Prior to this role, they worked as an Internal Audit & Risk Contractor at Marks and Spencer in 2019. Ed also held various positions at Harrods, including Head of Internal Audit, Senior Manager Internal Audit, Internal Audit Manager, and Senior Internal Auditor. At Harrods, they led and developed an Internal Audit team, delivered a risk-based plan, and facilitated the Enterprise Risk Management program. Ed Barrett started their career as an Audit Senior at Morley and Scott.

Ed Barrett obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Management from the University of East Anglia between 2000 and 2003. Ed also has an ACA certification from ICAEW, although the specific month and year of obtaining it are unknown.
