Quality Assurance Engineer at PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler

Will Harris has over 10 years of work experience, starting in 2010 as a Vegetative Management Technician at Story County Conservation. In 2012, they joined PPI - Precision Pulley & Idler as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk and later became a Production Supervisor in 2014. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Continuous Improvement Technician/Quality Technician at PPI. In 2018, they took on the role of a Quality Assurance Engineer at PPI, where they manage quality issues, collaborates with plant managers to implement Lean strategies, and responds to customer complaints and vendor concerns.

Will Harris attended Wartburg College from 2003 to 2006, where they studied English Language and Literature. Will then enrolled at Iowa State University from 2007 to 2010, majoring in Animal Ecology with a field of study in Wildlife Biology. In addition to their formal education, Will obtained two certifications: a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in December 2020 and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from the same institution in April 2021.
