Julie Martin, CPA, CA, BBA has a diverse professional background in the finance industry. Julie began their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Senior Accountant from 1989 to 1993. Julie then served as the Director of Finance at the Huntington Society of Canada from 1993 to 1999. Following that, Julie worked as a Controller at Protexion Products (1997) Inc. for a brief period in 1999. Julie joined Assante Wealth Management in 2000 and held various roles including CFO/Controller, Senior Manager of Finance, and Senior Manager of Finance & Operations until 2004. Julie then moved to Manulife, where they held several positions including Manager of Client Financial Services, Director of Distributor Services, Assistant Vice President of Distributor Services, and Assistant Vice President of Business & Distributor Solutions. During their time at Manulife, they managed large teams, oversaw distributor enablement, and spearheaded strategic initiatives to improve customer experience. Julie joined PPI in 2018 as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives before being promoted to National Vice President of Business Operations, Compensation & Process Improvement in 2019. Julie currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at PPI, where they focus on enhancing the service offering and integrating acquired businesses.
