Jay McMahon has a diverse work experience. Jay currently holds the role of Regional Vice President at PPI since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Canada Life for a significant period of time, where they held various positions including Regional Vice President, Managing Director - Freedom 55 Financial, Assistant Vice President - Freedom 55 Financial, Director of Business Development - Freedom 55 Financial, and Financial Security Advisor - Freedom 55 Financial. Jay also has experience in Production Management at General Motors and briefly worked as a Course Instructor at Durham College in 2008.

Jay McMahon B.Comm, MSc, CHS, CFP has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor. Additionally, they hold a Master's of Science degree in Education from Medaille University. Jay also completed a program on Recruitment & Selection in Canada at Fleming College. In terms of certifications, Jay is a Certified Health Specialist, having received this certification from The Institute for Advanced Financial Education in September 2014. Jay is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certified by FP Canada since August 2014. Furthermore, Jay is a Certified Ontario Teacher as recognized by the Ontario College of Teachers, which they obtained in September 2006.
