Ms. Ward served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc. from 2015 until her retirement in 2019. Prior to her appointment as Chief Accounting Officer, she served in various finance- and accounting-related positions during her 27 years at UPS. Prior to her tenure at UPS, Ms. Ward spent 10 years at Ernst & Young in Assurance Services. Ms. Ward also serves on the board of directors and audit committee of Saia Inc. She was elected to serve as a member of our Board of Directors as a result of her years of experience as a senior financial executive of a multi-national business, as well as her public accounting experience.
