Barbara Polello

Barbara Polello has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Barbara currently serves as a Pharmacovigilance Compliance Expert at PQE Group, starting in April 2022. Previously, they worked at LEO Pharma as a Senior Quality Auditor from June 2021 to April 2022.

Before that, Barbara held a significant role as the Head of Pharmacovigilance, Vigilance, and Surveillance Operations at APR Applied Pharma Research s.a. from June 2015 to May 2021. At Novartis, they served in multiple positions, including Senior Drug Safety Specialist from January 2014 to May 2015, Drug Safety Associate from September 2010 to December 2013, and Senior Clinical Research Associate from October 2007 to September 2010.

Barbara's earlier experience includes working at Recordati as a Clinical Research Associate from April 2004 to October 2007 and conducting Preclinical Studies in the Pharmacological Lab from September 2000 to March 2004.

Barbara Polello completed their secondary education at Liceo Classico E. Cairoli in Varese from 1988 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a degree in Scienze Biologiche at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria from 1993 to 1999. Their studies at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria were focused within the Facoltà di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Naturali.
