Dr. Axel York Poschmann

Dr. Axel York Poschmann is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and product management, currently serving as Vice President of Product at PQShield since February 2023 and as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Center for Cyber Security at New York University Abu Dhabi. With extensive experience as Executive Director at xen1thLabs, Dr. Poschmann managed multiple technical laboratories and led a global team at NXP Semiconductors focused on security concepts and vulnerability analysis. An accomplished academic, Dr. Poschmann held the position of Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, where significant advancements in cryptographic engineering were made, resulting in collaborations with prestigious institutions and several patents. Dr. Poschmann holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum and a Global EMBA from INSEAD, among other degrees in IT security and business administration.
